Providence is a small shop base at Burwash Manor, Barton, Cambridge. The shop features, New England style furniture, Shaker peg rails and shelves, our own Providence Pant, and paint from Farrow & Ball and claypaint from Earthborn. We also stock Osmo's polyx oil for floors.

We also specialize in U.S. imports such as wire work, braided rugs and baskets, and maple Shaker knobs for cabinets.

Why Providence?
Providence, R.I. was founded by a religious
freedom seeker named Rodger Williams in
1654. In Providence, on the stage of a
fantastic theatre (Trinity Repertory
Company) Kathy met Tim. Somewhere
along the way they decided to bring a little
bit of New England to Cambridge.....
Providence the shop was born.
